HOUSE NUMBER ONE:
I admit I was against hiring a home stager for our row home. I thought if we decluttered it would be enough, but my Realtor talked me into hiring her staging company, Bice Redesign. Steve came over and quickly came up with creative solutions to store my children's books & toys; he did a walkthrough of the entire place and picked a few furniture pieces for us to remove and put in storage; he swapped a chair here and a table there from other rooms and then moved the furniture into new arrangements. He then scoured our cupboards for accessories and used them throughout the house. My house was completely transformed! Perhaps most importantly, he did all of this for an extremely reasonable fee.

When the developer of our building turned it over to us, he left us with a complete lack of any landscaping. Wow, what a difference! Steve took a small, builder-basic front yard, which was this over-grown blob of green bushes and turned it into a colorful, choreographed performance for the eyes. He also found a way to maximize space in the backyard. "Why have a deck leading to a deck?" he asked. "Why not make this area a patio - at ground level - instead?" Brilliant! We never would have thought of and it made such a huge difference. Because of Bice Redesign, we now have multiple outdoor living spaces in back that we will enjoy and a show stopper of a front yard that's unlike any other in the neighborhood.
